Michael Devlin's experience includes that of chief labor counsel of a Fortune 250 corporation, as well as practice at one of the largest national firms. Throughout a career that has spanned the country, Mr. Devlin represents large nationally based companies and international conglomerates, as well as regional and local businesses. At times, his practice has included the public sector as well.

A large part of Mr. Devlin's practice is dedicated to representing both unionized and non-unionized employers in all issues surrounding the workplace. He regularly counsels management clients regarding all employment decisions, and advises and litigates regarding discrimination and harassment issues, wage and hour matters, non-competition agreements, employment agreements, National Labor Relations Board matters, Occupational Safety and Health Administration audits, labor negotiations and arbitrations, union avoidance, and obligations of federal contractors, among other areas.

Mr. Devlin's representations span the full gamut of private sector businesses, including for example world class manufacturing leaders in such diverse fields as tea, hearing aids, sugar and lock production, home centers, food packaging businesses, printing enterprises, entertainment and service industry establishments, urban residential complexes, and non-profit organizations.

Upon request, Mr. Devlin has written on behalf of national legal and human resources publications on topical issues. He also speaks on such matters as well. In an effort to help law students hone their skills, he judges Moot Court competitions at Yale and Columbia Law Schools.

Mr. Devlin has been chosen as Special Labor Counsel to Bankruptcy trustees. He has also been selected as a Continuing Legal Education instructor for the Connecticut Law Tribune.
