Jonathan D. Berchem concentrates his practice in the area of general civil litigation, including insurance defense, construction litigation and employment law. Admitted to practice in Connecticut state and federal courts, as well as the United States Supreme Court and Pennsylvania state courts, Mr. Berchem is a member of the Milford, New Haven County and Connecticut Bar Associations, as well as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Berchem joined the firm in 1995. He is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law (J.D. 1995), where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and President of the Grant Opportunity ("GO") program. Mr. Berchem received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University (B.A. 1992).

Mr. Berchem is active in community affairs in his hometown of Milford, where he presently serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Milford, Inc. and the Board of Managers of the Woodruff Family YMCA. Mr. Berchem was appointed appointed Vice-Chair of the Woodruff Family YMCA Board of Managers in 2007. In January of 2008, Mr. Berchem was appointed by Mayor James Richetelli of Milford to serve as a Fire Commissioner on the City of Milford Fire Commission.
